About Alpha SAR

Alpha SAR Team Members at the AlphaCon2014 Seminar

Alpha SAR is a Search and Rescue team based in Houston, TX serving the greater Houston, Galveston, and surrounding areas in the search for missing persons. All members of Alpha SAR are 100% volunteers and are highly trained and certified by local and national agencies. We train canines, flankers, ground searchers, man-trackers, mapping specialists, and UAV imagery to aid in search and rescue efforts.

Alpha Search and Recovery has members that are certified National Association for Search and Rescue (NASAR) instructors and lead evaluators to teach classes and host official NASAR certifications.
